Madela was a guy that was very important to the people In Africa because he would help and be a nice guy he had a heart no one can have but sadly he passed away.

After reading the article I found it so amazing that he spent so many years in prison and suffered through so much, but still came out strong and still came out to pursue his same goal. He is truly deserving of the awards that he earned. No wonder so many people admire him so much. He is such an inspiration to many people around the globe and he will be missed.

Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was a South African anti-apartheid revolutionary, politician, and philanthropist who served as President of South Africa from 1994 to 1999. He was a great man he changed everybody's life in southern Africa. He won the Nobel peace prize because of his heroic actions. RIP Nelson Mandela. D:

I found it interesting that Mandela spent so many years in prison and still came out of prison with the same goal. He accomplished his goals and he certainly deserved to be respected by many citizens all over the world and he was awarded so many medals. He will surly be missed and will forever have his life engraved in South Africa .

After reading the article, I found it interesting how Mandela spent 27 years in person for fighting for who he believed in. Also how he was South Africa's first black president. It reminded me of how President Obama is the United States' first black president. Honestly after reading the article, I can see why he is so honored in today's society. He was and still is an inspiration to a lot of people all over the world.

After reading the article, i found it interesting that both Presidents Barack Obama and Mandela knew one another and after Mandela's death, Obama talked about what he did and how he inspired other people in africa and around the world. Also, both presidents won noble peace prizes for being the first black presidents in history.

After reading the article, " Mandela's Death Leaves South Africa Without its Moral Center" i think that the part tha caught my attention was, that he was in prison for 27 year for treason by the white minority this grabbed my attention because, for what i know ive only herd of him being in prison and after being president.

Response to the Article

After reading the article, I think that Nelson Mandela was an inspiring and selfless man because he fought for oppression even if it meant being in prison for 27 years; he stood up for what he think was right. I think we all should follow his steps, we should do the right thing even if there are gonna be consequences to it.
